Homebound

We have been overwhelmed by God's love through all of His people.  Thank you so much for all of your comments, prayers, and emails.  They have been such an encouragement.  They give us hope.  They give us a light when it is dark.  Please continue to pray and post comments.

We will be going home today.  Please specifically pray for our emotions during this transition.  Leaving the hospital without our precious bundle of joy is going to be very hard, but we will stand strong because our Jesus will be holding us up.  We will trust in Him.

Thank you again for everything.

We had a powerful time of prayer at church this morning for Ella and your family. Try to get a little rest knowing God is in control.

Dear Beautiful Family,

Brady and I are praying for youall (and even Kelvin!) My heart was overjoyed to hear that you had a baby girl and I cried bittersweet tears for her and your family. You have witnessed a miracle and I hope that you witness many more. The Spirit of the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.

We continue to pray day and night for God to heal Ella's heart, to make her strong, to perform a miracle. We know our God can. We are praying for your entire family also. I can't imagine what you are going through, but I know it is probably the most trying time you have been through. My schedule is flexible all week so please let me know if meals, errands, or babysitting might lighten your load at all. Thank you for the continued updates; they move us to pray even more and to be specific in our requests. We love you guys!

Your sighs, tears and pain are known to our God. Psalm 38:9--All my longings lie open before you, O Lord--my sighing is not hidden from You. This verse has given me comfort and I pray the same for you. You are so precious to our God.

Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectations are from Him.

The Lord gave me this scripture this morning, Christa and Erik. Bob and I pray comfort over you and your household.

You are loved and are being prayed for by multitudes of people in Oregon!

God Bless you, Linda and Bob

It has been a privilege to lift you and your sweet family up in prayer this week. We've never met, but our hearts are with you and we have shed tears over your suffering and join you in hope for Ella's body and future. Your faithfulness to Jesus has touched us so profoundly...thank you for sharing your journey with your church family. May God's gentle, strengthening presence be with you as you endure.

I am so saddened and yet hopeful for you two and your family. I am confident in the knowledge that our God is good and just and merciful and that he has a plan greater than ours for sweet, little Ella. I will be praying for a miracle and hope that you will have many, many years to spend with your sweet girl. I can't imagine the pain and pray that as you return home you will find the strength that only the Lord can give. I will be praying for peace and comfort and for the continual healing of Ella's little body. Much love to you!

You don't know us, but we too have lived this roller coaster ride. We are praying for grace and wisdom for each moment for you. The docs and surgeons are amazing, a talented, smart, committed team, But ultimately, because of your faith and prayers over your daughter, nothing can touch her destiny that hasn't passed through the Father's hand first. Somehow, that helped me. We watched God do unspeakable miracles in the life of our son born with multiple heart defects. "all things are possible"... You are all in our prayers.
